About the role
Join the Analytics team in Risk Management Operations, where you will lead a team of specialists to deliver strategic and advisory services in business planning, reporting and internal client relations. You will provide expertise and leadership on key organizational issues which may affect commercial operations and the implementation of important strategies to meet business objectives. You will also provide advice, guidance and coaching to internal clients relative to planning, development, resources and operations, as well as guide and mentor staff by sharing your own knowledge of business lines, data analysis methodologies, and operational activities measurement and assessment process.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the provision of tools, analytics and planning capability within the division for evidence-based decision making and facilitate the gathering and dissemination of business intelligence for product and policy improvement.
- Assume responsibility for forecasting the achievement of goals, including the determination of timelines, the identification of risks and the provision of recommendations to enable decision making.
- Lead the development and maintenance of dashboards to disseminate progress updates, including the provision of information related to divisional and departmental targets and key performance indicators.
- Ensure adequacy of reporting on the operational risk profile, operational risk appetite and on any significant operational risk issues, including new and emerging risks.
- Lead the provision of insights and analytics to clients and stakeholder, effectively communicating analytic findings and demonstrates persuasive and collaborative communication skills.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, targets, and results, and lead the provision of operational performance reporting.
- Monitor and report on status of action items to address identified operational risk issues including liaising with OSFI and stakeholders on operational risk-related inquiries.
