Job Description:
We are seeking a Treasury Senior Specialist to join our GBS Security Administration team. In this role, you will report to the Treasury Operations Team Lead and work closely with team members and business unit located in Canada. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating on daily BAU tasks and managing non-bank and banking applications within Treasury, focusing on access provision, deprovisioning, and control reviews.
- Conducting data analysis to support business units and enhance team efficiency.
- Supporting technological initiatives that drive process improvements.
You are expected to play a key role in assisting with the transformation journey by implementing changes and refining internal processes related to security access maintenance and periodic reviews, including but not limited to SOX application access reviews. Additionally, you will manage investigations and handle ad hoc tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Treasury Operations' BAU by managing treasury application access, controls, and reviews within SLA, while maintaining KPIs and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate business initiatives to identify and recommend improvements in processing, service, and technical areas, including implementing new technologies in reviews and reporting such as VBA, Power BI, and Alteryx.
- Formulate recommendations and solutions from findings to assist in decision-making; propose alternatives when faced with issues and explore opportunities for improvement.
- Perform periodic access reviews with due diligence and the utmost attention to detail, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and quality output, while strictly adhering to data privacy standards.
- Act as a key resource and actively support North America and Asia teams in various treasury-managed application requests.
- Collaborate with peers and various stakeholders on initiatives and project-related tasks.
- Conduct impact analyses, including 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' assessments and gap analyses as needed.
- Assist in developing, drafting, and maintaining manuals and procedures for risk and compliance requirements.
- Recommend ongoing process improvements as necessary.
- Deliver and/or quality check tasks and aid in the successful delivery of compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements pertaining to access provisions, deprovisioning, and periodic review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.
- SME experience with troubleshooting skills and the ability to escalate when necessary.
- Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation) and must be willing to work on a night shift schedule
