Job Purpose:

Pricebook administrative responsibilities relate to the automation of Convenience Store product pricing. The incumbent is responsible for data input, maintenance, and reporting related to Pricebook applications. A critical function of this position is effective and time sensitive communications of Pricebook data and processing with retail management, various vendors and BCOC buyer personnel.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintenance of Pricebook information:

Acquire up-to-date product knowledge, while continuously learning new efficient processes while in the position.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of data

Implement Rebate Programs to maximize efficiencies based upon retail parameters within product categories and individual store strategies.

Maintain the Rebate Programs for each individual store.

Apply file imports from vendors

Manually modify data as necessary or appropriate.

Maintain data base to make price changes and to track vendor promotions and rebates.

Produce monthly, quarterly, or annual billings for rebate programs.

Manage the Coordination and Communication of Pricing Activity:

Implement new item set-up and cost/retail/promotional pricing with direction from buyers and retail sales management.

Provide support to store managers; i.e., resolving pricing conflicts at the store level.

Forward new item and pricing inquiries from the store level to appropriate management personnel for evaluation and response.

Work with retail sales management to report rebate program performance.

A high school diploma is required; a higher level education with direct experience and skills are appreciated but not necessary to complete the position.

Require a strong math aptitude and the ability to work accurately with numbers.

Above average computer skills

The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.

Have a clear understanding of how to calculate figures and amounts such as, discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages with accuracy.

Demonstrate clear communication skills, utilizing the highest level of professional communication with our internal and external customers. Please be able to maintain this behavior while still delivering directives and instructions both written and verbal.

Familiarity with PDI and DM-2 software are helpful but not necessary. Everything is teachable!

Must have working knowledge of Word Processing and Excel Spreadsheet applications.

Be able to maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and company pricing strategies.

Be process oriented.

Possess the aptitude to learn and document the software applications supporting the Pricbebook function. To perform this job successfully, and incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
