Position Summary
Accurate Home Care has an opening for a Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) to provide adult and pediatric nursing care in the patient’s own home. Pay & Perks:
In additional to the cultural perks:
- Flexibility! All days of the week and shifts available; 8-12 hour shifts are typical
- LPN hourly rate beginning at $21.75 an hour; higher compensation offered with experience
- RN hourly rate beginning at $29.00 an hour; higher compensation offered with experience

What will I be doing?
- Implementing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementing, evaluating based on scope of practice.
- Communicate with physician and other members of multidisciplinary patient care team regarding the health status of patient.
- Provide a variety of cares ranging from tracheostomy and ventilators, to feeding tubes, wound care, and seizure management.
Qualifications
What skills do I need to bring?
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Minnesota.
- Must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or medical or religious exemption
- Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English.
- Education and experience in the scope of services offered by the agency.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR course for healthcare providers through American Heart Association or Red Cross renewed at recommended frequencies.
- Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs.
