Associate Engineer_ Solutions Automation

This position is based in Nanjing, China.

Calix provides the cloud, software platforms, systems and services required for communications service providers to simplify their businesses, excite their subscribers and grow their value.

Overview:

The successful candidate will help define, design, modify and implement automation management tool, maintain Calix solution automation structure, integrate new technology, such AI to automation framework. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Calix products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design and optimize automation management tool

• Implement requirements coming from management team to show data analysis result of automation execution

• Implement requirements coming from automation dev and execution team to optimize their daily work

• Investigate new technology to increase the automation framework ability, increase automation coverage and increase the speed of automation.

Qualifications:

• Calix requires all employees and contingent workers who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated

• BSCS, BSEE or equivalent, MS Preferred

• Automation framework development experience using one or more of the following: Python/Java/Go

• Be proficient in Django, Flask, webpy or other web framework

• Be familiar with Large-Language-Models, Embedding-models, Vector DB

• Be familiar with Celery

• Be familiar with front-end tool, such as VUE

• Be familiar with database, such as mySQL

• Be familiar with one or more automation framework, such as pytest, Robot Framework

• Good Software programming skills and willing to learn

• Familiar with Linux system, shell

• Experience with Git

• Excellent oral and written English language communication skills

• Self-motivation and good team player

Nice to Have:

• Be familiar with stream processing framework, like flink

• Be familiar with Celery

• Experience with CICD tool stack

• Know datacom or telecom products

• Experience with traffic generators such as IXIA, STC

• Experience on iOS application development or automation
