QA Lead 715624

The QA Test Lead will be tasked with overseeing the testing performed in the Agile Scrum Teams to ensure the delivery of the highest quality releases. The QA Lead will also provide metrics on the overall testing progress.

QA Testing Lead Role
• Review and oversee all manual testing efforts performed by System Integrator and State Resources.
• Participate in story reviews including end to end.
• Attend Non-Functional Story Reviews & approve testing scenarios.
• Provide weekly testing and defect metrics to give Leadership a status of the progress of the development efforts for each release stream.
• Participate in Defect Management Process
• Offer potential testing process improvements and provide Testers with guidance on best practices.
• Assist with any manual regression testing.
• Participate in the process of determining which manual test cases will be included in automated regression testing.

The position is currently remote; however, it is possible that we could return to an on-site position in the future.

Requirements

10 years experience in the following:

• Experience developing test plans and test cases
• Thorough knowledge of manual and automated testing
• Experience testing Web Applications
• Experience developing and executing API test cases
• Working knowledge of Windows and Unix Platforms
• Extensive knowledge of testing principles and defect management systems & processes
• Demonstrated ability to transform business scenarios into manual and automated test coverage
• Fundamental understanding of SQL database concepts
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use third party tools and system utilities
• Ability to work well in a project team
• Experience working with an Agile Development Process
• Knowledge and experience deploying risk-based testing techniques
• Experience with performance, load, stress, and endurance testing

5 years experience:

• Knowledge of Medicaid Applications and CMS Regulations
• Knowledge of Financial & Food Assistance Programs (Desired)
