The Opportunity

We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager LATAM Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) in our Hollywood, FL location. 

The Senior Finance Manager is a key leadership role that will lead end to end all planning cycles and manage the Rolling Latest Best Estimate (RLBE) / Plan and Organic Execution Model (OEM) processes, Actual reporting and Commercial Gross Margin initiatives for EPD LATAM.  The individual in this role will prepare executive level RLBE / Plan / OEM presentations for the EPD Latam Controller, partners cross functionally with Business Unit Regional functions, Affiliates Finance Controllers, and actively support an array of ad-hoc FP&A activities for senior leadership.  This requires prioritization, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely financials and analyses are provided to leadership to enable informed decision making.  The role is a key driver of value creation who influences decisions leveraging fact based financial analysis. This role has oversight of three direct reports.

What You'll Work On:

• Manage RLBE / Plan / OEM (long range plan) processes from a regional perspective, which includes setting deadlines, providing guidance on deliverables, completing RLBE submissions to EPD Division and performing Latam-level analysis.

• Manage the P&L consolidation of total EPD Latam results and summaries by Affiliates and business function for monthly reporting, quarterly RLBEs and quarterly Confirmation estimates for management review and decision-making.

• Prepare quality, concise and polished financial presentation content for executive meetings, including Monthly Staff Meetings, presentation of RLBEs and OEM to EPD Division.

• Serve as key liaison with EPD Division Finance on follow-up questions on RLBE submissions, as well as other ad hoc requests.

• Identify, recommend, and implement finance process improvements across the region; includes facilitating regular meetings to review key topics, relay guidance and discuss/share finance best practices.

• Manage the EPD Latam HQ budgeting and reporting, including forecasting, month-end close, and review of results with the EPD Latam Controller.

• Experience in USGAAP accounting to ensure properly planning and provide guidance to countries in the region.

• Ensure integrity of financials, maintains sound internal control and secure satisfactory audits across the region.

• Deliver high end forecast accuracy and supports improvement of the supply forecast.

• Manage and develop three finance staff; this includes hiring, training, and developing skills and capabilities that prepare finance talent for their next Abbott finance roles.

Required Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of progressive Finance/Accounting experience aligned to the role expectations with proven track record in financial planning and analysis, business -commercial partnering and internal controls.

• Bachelor's Degree

• Prior supervisory and leadership experience.
