Preconstruction Manager, Renewable Energy

The Position

Roncelli is looking for a full-time highly skilled and motivated Preconstruction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction project management with hands-on experience in renewable energy projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the preconstruction phase of commercial construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, value engineering, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. The Preconstruction Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of renewable energy projects, such as solar, wind, and energy storage facilities.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of commercial construction preconstruction experience, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy projects.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications: LEED certification or other sustainability-related certifications.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of renewable energy systems (solar, wind, storage) and associated technologies.

Additional Skills: Proven expertise in developing accurate cost estimates, managing project timelines, and leading cross-functional teams. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Technical Skills: Proficient in construction management software such as Procore, Hammertech, SharePoint, or similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Budgeting: Developing detailed project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules. Ensuring that all project parameters align with client specifications, renewable energy industry standards, and project goals.
