About the role

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with building occupants, and administrators for the purpose of completing projects/work orders/preventative maintenance efficiently.
  • Inspects facilities, systems and their components (building interior, exterior, electrical systems, HVAC systems, life safety systems, etc) to identify necessary repairs.
  • Installs and repairs system and facility component parts (door and window assemblies, ceiling and floor materials, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc) for the purpose of maintaining facilities in a safe, comfortable, and efficiently operating condition.
  • Maintains tools and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Repairs various items, systems and/or components (electrical switches, fixtures, motors, plumbing, drainage systems, HVAC, alarms, etc) for the purpose of ensuring that items are available and in safe working condition.
  • Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items.
  • Requests quotations for the purpose of providing cost information, purchasing and securing items.
  • Responds to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
  • Salt and plow district parking lots in winter months.
  • Lawn mower engine repair
  • Snow plowing and removal, etc
  • Salting
  • Lawn and landscape maintenance
  • Deliveries
  • Athletic Field maintenance and prep
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to operate a lawn mower and walk for an extended period of time
  • Ability to lift and bend
  • Ability to take written and oral direction
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Chauffeur License Preferred
