Pay and Schedule

• Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for keeping the warehouse free of safety hazards by picking up and disposing of trash and cardboard, sweeping, and operating trash and recycling compactors as necessary.
• To assist in delivery preparation, the Warehouse Assistant works with other team members to assemble products according to manufacturer instructions.
• The Warehouse Assistant works individually or as a part of a team to lift and move product to designated areas.
• Assists other warehouse departments as directed to by manager or supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience: No experience necessary. Job Training will be provided.

Physical Demands: High physical demands can be required. The employee is regularly required to stand for sustained periods of time. The employee can be expected to lift, push, and pull up to 150 pounds individually and up to 300 pounds as a part of a team. Occasionally, The employee will be required to ascend and descend ladders and stairs in a safe manner. May be required to work safely from heights when necessary. The employee must adhere to safe lifting techniques, follow proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participate in the departmental stretching program, and maintain an overall safe working environment.
