Position Summary:
Works independently and is responsible for supporting the organization’s core business through analysis, research, and proper recommendations of new business initiatives, the implementation of the strategic planning process through collaboration with the company executive leadership team and board of directors. Responsible for the evaluation and analysis of all current business processes and providing recommendations on improvements that can be made.


Examples of duties

Education/Experience:
Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare, finance, business administration, or a similar field and two (2) years of professional-level experience in strategy and business development.
 
Licensing/Certification Requirements:
None.

Qualifications

Priority consideration will be given to candidates who have the following experience requirements DOCUMENTED in their APPLICATION:
  • Current (within the last year) experience as a Business Development Officer within an acute care hospital setting.
  • Documented experience developing and implementing strategic business plans within an acute care hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing growth strategies within an acute care hospital setting.
