Location: Greenbelt, MD – Onsite
Clearance Requirement: Secret (minimum); must be eligible for Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI upon request
We are currently looking to fill the Regional Multilateral Analyst role. Responsibilities & other details are listed below:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply advanced subject matter expertise to address complex issues not easily solved through standard methods.
- Lead the planning and implementation of new policies, regulations, and legislation concerning arms transfers, regional security, and political-military affairs.
- Independently draft, publish, and implement regulatory changes to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Review and analyze regulatory changes proposed by other agencies to assess impact on office equities.
- Develop and provide briefings, reports, and recommendations that influence major policy decisions or programs.
- Prepare high-level briefing materials for senior U.S. Department of State officials to support engagements with foreign governments, interagency stakeholders, and NGOs.
- Isolate and define emerging or ambiguous geopolitical or regulatory issues and offer original solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise that shapes the development of major policies and affects the work of other senior analysts and agencies.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve policy conflicts and ensure mission alignment.
- Demonstrate the competencies of a senior Multilateral Analysts, in addition to independently managing complex, high-impact tasks with limited supervision.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
- Active Secret clearance required; must be eligible for Top Secret or TS/SCI upon COR request.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within defined timelines.
- Sound judgment and the ability to work independently under administrative supervision.
- Professional demeanor and proven ability to interact effectively across diverse organizational and cultural environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
- Familiarity with office equipment (telephones, copiers, scanners, etc.).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
