Accounts Payable Intern

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for timely and accurate processing of account payable duties including the following:
• Reconciling invoices on a daily basis
• Processing payment request tickets
• Perform research as needed
• May perform other duties as assigned

Other Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of accounting processes and procedures
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
• Ability to identify errors, and employ problem solving skills to correct.
• Proficient in relevant computer applications, specifically Excel

Physical Requirements

• Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

 Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Currently enrolled in college
• Must have Excel experience
