As we are committed to advancing our generator growth and enhancing the management of shared Tier 2 commodities (targeting Wro-Sch-Andritz). Additionally, we aim to transition certain non-global commodities to a global scale.
Job Description
What you’ll do
- Supply Chain Harmonization: Integrate in-house and outsourced supply chain procurement and sourcing processes to ensure seamless operations and resource optimization.
- Capacity Mapping and Development: Analyze, map, and measure existing capacities and capabilities of Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers; Develop strategies to align supplier capacities with Generator LRF requirements for HD and Aero Product Lines.
- Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with Global Commodity Leaders (GCLs) to implement directed buy strategies and secure capacity commitments for key sites including Wroclaw and Schenectady, as well as external suppliers.
- Control Tower Creation: Establish a centralized control tower for forecasting and demand allocation management; Facilitate communication and coordination with direct and directed buy suppliers to ensure effective supply chain operations.
- Capacity Locks and Forecasting: Implement systems and processes to lock capacities with suppliers and ensure frequent and accurate forecasting and allocation.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Significant experience in Supply Chain or Sourcing role
- Fluent in English, German language skills are an advantage
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to ~20% of the time, as required
- Legal authorization to work in the assigned country is required

- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred

- GE Program graduate is preferred

For purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements the base pay range for this position is $125K - $208K USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 15% annual performance incentive.
This position is expected to close on 8/7/2025, or thereafter.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
