Senior Telecommunication Specialist

IT Concepts is seeking a Senior Telecommunication Specialist who will support several projects at a federal agency. The position is located in Woodlawn, MD. The qualified candidate should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with sharp attention to detail.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comprehensive understanding of Voice services to include VoIP, telephone lines, audio conference bridges and toll free numbers.
• Maintaining and processing requests for voice services at SSA headquarters and SSA regions. This includes all services offered in the program.
• Interact with vendor management to determine and resolve customer issues.
• Use database information to extract reports on monthly operational, revenue and cost metrics.
• Monitor, measure, and report on project progress to management, vendors and clients, including presentations.
• Knowledge and application of project management best practices.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Experience with formal presentations to team members and management.
• Documenting and maintaining procedural and process instructions .

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related work experience required, with prior experience in technical and/or project management
• Familiar with Microsoft Teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and/or experience
