Leica is launching a brand-new, high-impact team to lead our strategic expansion into the rapidly growing spatial biology segment—and we’re looking for top sales and applications talent to join us in a remote sales and customer support role. As Customer Success manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for reagents and Spatial Biology workflows, ensuring customer satisfaction and product optimization. Additionally, you will drive sales growth through consultative selling, generating competitive quotes, identifying new opportunities, and managing customer relationships to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of consumables

This position reports to the Market Development Manager and is part of the commercial team in EMEA located in Germany  working remotely to cover EMEA.  

The ideal applicant should be located in the Southern Part of Germany

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide front-line pre- and post-sales technical support for reagents and Spatial Biology workflows, assisting customers with troubleshooting and product optimization.
  • Engage in consultative selling and upselling of consumables, such as reagents and dyes, to research and academic institutions, recommending appropriate products for Life Science projects.
  • Generate accurate and competitive quotes for consumables, ensuring alignment with customer needs and budget constraints.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the existing installed base, focusing on expanding consumables usage.
  • Manage customer relationships with new and existing clients, addressing and resolving issues or quality concerns to ensure satisfaction and integration while ensuring optimal stock levels and timely delivery of consumables

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor or more in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent field
  • 2+ years of experience providing technical support and training for consumable reagents products, demonstrating a strong understanding of product applications and benefits 
  • In-depth knowledge of reagents and dyes/ immunohistochemistry used in Life Science research, with the ability to discuss product specifications and compatibility within workflows to position and value sell the correct solution
  • Hands-on experience working in a lab environment within Life Science research, providing practical insights and credibility when interacting with customers 
  • Inside sales experience in the Life Science sector, with a focus on consumable reagents and dyes (Preferred)
