Law | Academic OperationsThe Ohio State University Moritz College of Law seeks an experienced and energetic individual to fill the position of Senior International Programs Specialist Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for International and Graduate Affairs, the Senior International and Graduate Programs Specialist will implement matters relating to the operations of all aspects of the LLM program, Visiting Research Scholars program, Summer and Online Foundations programs, and other program development as requested by the Assistant Dean. The incumbent will plan and execute international recruitment strategies for the LL.M. program and summer Foundations program; and create and implement professional development and career services programming for internationally trained lawyers and law students. The Senior International and Graduate Programs Specialist will manage and coordinate alumni relations (outreach/communication/and engagement with the program’s ambassadors). The Senior International and Graduate Programs Specialist will also design and implement marketing plans for the LLM program, the Foundations summer and online programs, study abroad programs, and other programs as requested by the Assistant Dean; develop ideas for and execute marketing campaigns to reach audiences through various channels (social media, ads, website, flyers, etc.); deliver brand-consistent messaging; create content for marketing materials and websites; edit webpages; communicate with vendors to plan promotional events and campaigns; collaborate with Moritz’s marketing team to implement brand awareness and marketing efforts; and analyze campaign results, conversion rates and website traffic to improve future marketing activities.
Required Experience/Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
Software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, design and marketing software and applications.
Demonstrable experience in working with or advising international audiences, preferably lawyers and legal professionals. Knowledge of the legal job market in the U.S. and overseas
Demonstrable success in planning and executing social media and email marketing campaigns. International travel required.
Self-initiative, ability to generate and see projects through completion; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; creative thinking
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Cross-cultural understanding and global awareness.
Desired Experience/Education:
Master’s degree in marketing, communication or a related field, or a master’s in legal studies (or a similar advanced degree).
8-12 years’ experience in marketing data analytics and tools; working knowledge of web design.
Prior work experience in higher education, especially in law school environment; international background/study or work abroad experience.
