Travel Advanced Practice Nurse (TAPN) - Part Time

Position: Travel Advanced Practice Nurse (TAPN) - Part Time

Starting Pay: $51.23–$67.16/hour (includes $2/hour travel differential) (based on experience in reproductive/sexual healthcare or with PPRM)
Additional Pay: +$2.25/hour for Spanish fluency (upon passing test)

Schedule: Part Time; Non-Exempt Option 1: ~25 hours/week; Benefits Eligible Option 1: ~15 hours/week; Non-Benefits Eligible   Travel Details: The TAPN travel within 45 miles of Denver preferred locations of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountain (PPRM) affiliate. Preferred candidate to live in the Colorado Denver Metro area.

Abortion Care: At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.

Union: Represented by SEIU Local 105.

Training: Paid, comprehensive onboarding. Initial travel to Denver (2–4 weeks) is required.

Requirements:

• Active NP or CNM license in the state where care will be provided (e.g., Colorado or New Mexico)
• 1+ year experience in reproductive health or prior experience with PPRM
• National certification as NP or CNM
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct reproductive health exams and screenings
• Diagnose and treat STIs
• Provide birth control education and methods
• Participate in abortion services
• Deliver excellent patient care and education

Protocols:

• COVID-19: Vaccine or mask required for patient-facing roles
• Flu: Vaccine or mask required during flu season (Oct–Apr)
• Background check required
