About the role
Day in Life:
The Account Representative will work as a direct representative and liaison for Hertz Rental Car. This role will act as the facilitator and single point of contact between Hertz and the fleet company. The Account Representative’s main responsibly will be account management along with increasing revenue and market share.
This position starts at $18 hour commensurate of experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop a thorough understanding of rental and fleet operating systems.
- Support Fleet Account Managers by applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to daily operations and customer needs.
- Enhance training and facilitation skills by regularly conducting new-hire training sessions for Fleet Accounts.
- Collaborate with a diverse team dedicated to delivering premier service to both internal and external customers.
- Support Fleet partners throughout the rental lifecycle, from reservation creation through invoicing.
- Learn to develop and implement process improvements that streamline tasks and increase operational efficiency.
- Communicate professionally with Vice Presidents, C-suite executives, and other key stakeholders within client organizations.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Hertz Local Edition (HLE) and Hertz systems experience preferred.
- Passion for customer service.
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong management-level decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical abilities.
- Solution-oriented, leveraging both analytical and customer service skill sets.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
- Strong ability to influence and drive results.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-driven with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems.
