  • We’re looking for a Senior Member Service Representative Floater who has experience with customer-focused/deadline-driven/high-energy environment, and who can provide courteous, friendly and professional assistance to their team, and our membership.
  • Our ideal candidate will make $26.10 to 27.55 for this role.
  • Will follow a Monday-Friday flexibility between 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Hours may vary based on branch location needs.
  • Rotating Saturday's between 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. (with a minimum of two Saturday's per month) schedule.
  • We offer time and a half for hours worked on Saturdays.
  • Must possess a clean driving record. Mileage will be company paid.
What about the Duties & Responsibilities?The Senior Personal Banker Floater will serve as a liaison between the member and the Credit Union.
  • Position rotates at designated branches and/or in store branch locations based on leadership direction. Work will occur at different branches and/or in store branch locations based on staffing requirements.
  • Identify and recommend products and services based on the member’s financial needs upon review of their account or through determining needs based on asking open ended questions.
  • Contact prospective members, businesses, community groups and Select Employer Groups (SEGs) to present information on available products and services.
  • Attend various community organization meetings to develop new business and create awareness of the credit union.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities to enhance relationship building with member and provide enhanced services to members by maintaining expert level of knowledge of Credit Union features and benefits, products and services.
  • Meet or exceed sales and service goals.
  • Facilitate requests of members and visitors within guidelines established by policies, procedures and regulations; making exceptions only within this position’s level of authority.
  • Adhere to Credit Union policies and procedures, government rules and regulations, and vendor and security guidelines.

Designated safety-sensitive position. Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen (which will include marijuana testing) and adhere to the Drug and Alcohol Policy for duration of employment with the Credit Union.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Education/Certification:

  • High school degree or equivalent; some college level coursework preferred.
  • Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) required. (This is a SAFE Act position and registration will be required, upon offer, if an applicant does not currently have a NMLS number.)

Experience:

  • Minimum two years’ experience in financial industry required in roles focused on consultative financial services, retail banking sales and proven success in establishing new clients, deepening existing client relationships and achieving sales and production goals.

Required Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Basic knowledge of software applications.
  • Compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy and Money Laundering rules required.
