About the role
RideNow - Forney is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and ambitious Sales Department Administrative Assistant to directly support our Sales Manager & General Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume vehicle sales dealership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes initiative, and is looking to grow within dealership operations or sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales Manager/General Manager in a high-traffic sales environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Prepare, organize, and maintain deal jackets, sales contracts, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Enter, update, and audit sales transactions within the dealership management system (DMS) and CRM platforms
- Assist with structuring deals, tracking approvals, and coordinating handoffs between sales, F&I, accounting, and management
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports, including unit volume, gross, and inventory tracking
- Monitor deal flow throughout the day to ensure timely processing and minimize delivery delays
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and follow-ups for the Sales Manager and sales team
- Serve as a communication hub between departments to resolve issues quickly and keep deals moving
- Support compliance audits and internal process reviews related to sales transactions
- Proactively identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Maintain organization in both physical and digital filing systems in a fast-moving environment
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at workstation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- Prior experience in an automotive dealership, vehicle sales, or sales related organization a plus
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Experience with dealership DMS/CRM systems a plus
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ambitious mindset with a desire to learn dealership operations and grow professionally
