About the role: 

 

We are currently seeking a Line Maintenance Sr. Equipment Engineer to join our team in Cedartown, Georgia. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with lots of challenges and opportunities, this is the right role for you.

Responsibilities: 

• Ownership of solar panel recycling equipment.  Responsible for the reliability and performance of the Equipment 

• Monitor the condition of the equipment; proactively identify maintenance needs and establish standard maintenance procedures and work, troubleshooting and repair. 

• Establish/drive continuous improvement metrics via a preventative maintenance program to optimize planned vs unplanned downtime on the manufacturing equipment. 

• Establish and drive a cost reduction program from a process, equipment, and maintenance shop perspective. 

• Regularly meet with Production and Engineering teammates to plan and monitor maintenance and capital improvement projects. 

• Establish, improve, and drive compliance with all operational safety policies, procedures, and protocols. 

• Identify and implement a new computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and drive maintenance efficiencies through the IT systems. 

• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary, coordinate and administer vendor contracts. 

• Undertake corrective action resulting from system audits. 

• Provide regular reports on the status of maintenance metrics and programs. 

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.

Education, Training and Professional Experience:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Field 

• 10 years of experience in high-tech equipment maintenance 

• Experience with installation and start-up of Equipment 

• Experience using computerized maintenance systems 

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC), Fault Detection Limits (FDC)
