Light Maintenance and Repair Lead

Location: Cerritos, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Rate: $30+ based off experience (MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN TOOLS)

We are seeking an experienced Light Maintenance & Repair Lead to support our team of Lube Technicians. This is a hands on role focused on mentoring technicians, improving repair quality, and helping grow their mechanical skill sets. The ideal candidate comes with strong brake and front-end experience, light mechanical repair knowledge, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume Ford service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and lead Express/Lube Technicians in day-to-day maintenance and light repair work

• Provide guidance, troubleshooting support, and real-time coaching to build technician skills

• Perform and oversee light mechanical repairs 

• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are being met

• Assist in workflow coordination as the Express department grows

• Set a positive tone, help maintain productivity, and encourage continuous learning

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recent experience in automotive maintenance and light repair

• Experience from an independent shop or dealership

• Strong background in brakes, front-end repair, and light mechanical work

• Must have own tools and a professional, team-oriented attitude

• Ford experience a plus but not required
