Senior GCP DevOps Engineer

SUMMARY:

As a Senior Google Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer, your main role will be to build and deploy software and infrastructure delivery pipelines, optimize and maintain production systems and services, set up, monitor and observe key alerts, and balance service reliability with delivery speed.

We are looking for candidates who are as excited about pushing their development as they are about advancing our technology stack.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

You will become a key member of our engineering team, contributing significantly within a collaborative, autonomous, and cross-functional environment. Your role will involve assisting with the following:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable software and infrastructure delivery pipelines on GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Recommend upgrades to services as/when new features on the underlying
  platform (GCP) are built and functioning
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
• Implement monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of cloud services
• Implement and maintain security best practices for GCP environments
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP
• Experience with key GCP Data Engineering services, including Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Memorystore / Redis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus) and logging solutions
• Experience with Java, Python
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code using Terraform
• Experience working in Agile development environments, particularly in a Scrum framework.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
