Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for performing account reconciliations and posting general ledger journal entries. This position will work closely with the Senior Accountant and other departments to produce reliable financial data for use in measuring company performance and guiding decision making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily including the following. 

  • Daily Cash reporting and bank account reconciliations
  • Post bi-weekly payroll into Dynamics GP
  • Maintain accurate records of all fixed assets
  • Maintain accurate records of all debt
  • Process Concur (Expense Reporting Tool) at month-end and record expenses in BC
  • Complete timely month-end routines
  • Balance sheet reconciliations as assigned in FloQast to include, but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Prepaids, etc.
  • Payroll and Benefits related account reconciliations
  • Cashflow & Forecasting
  • FP&A of Financial Statements and aftermarket sales data
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience/Education/Skills:

  • 3+ years administrative support/office management experience preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Impeccable customer service both internally and externally.
  • Ability to deliver high quality work product.
  • Strong reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office 360 and other Microsoft products/systems.  Strong technical aptitude, including ability to learn new systems quickly and train/support team in adoption.
