General Function:

This full-time, salaried position is responsible for the clinical operations of the behavioral health programs. The Clinical Director assures the behavioral health programs consistently provide high quality crisis counseling services and maintain appropriate documentation. They will work collaboratively with the management team to review clinical practices and constantly improve client care and care coordination between systems with a focus on formulating community clinical needs to cultivate growth opportunities. The Clinical Director will oversee quality, training, and customer satisfaction to ensure the highest level of crisis service is delivered to the individuals utilizing crisis services.

 

Principal Activities:

  • Oversee all clinical operations and services and monitor compliance with legal guidelines
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures supporting the delivery of clinical services
  • Provide clinical supervision to crisis counselors and supervisory staff
  • Stay current on research and development in the field and disseminate best practice information to clinical staff
  • Oversees recruitment, hiring, and training of clinical staff
  • Participates in and facilitates team meetings at all levels including staff debriefing
  • Stay informed of, and disseminate to staff, information related to legal and ethical issues which may directly affect or influence clinical practices
  • Ensures that Requests for Records are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with federal and state privacy laws
  • Provide supervision and performance management functions for direct reports including leadership, mentorship, and coaching
  • Ensures quality assurance through direct monitoring of counseling staff, cli
