**Schedule: D Shift
12-hour rotating shift (6:00PM -6:00 AM)
Scheduled to work 7-days in a 14-day period (2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2off, 3 on, 2 off - every other weekend is scheduled off)
JOB RESPONSABILITIES
Certify to operate multiple processes or grouping of equipment on high speed automated or semiautomated manufacturing equipment.
Participate in all equipment changeovers or set-ups.
Monitor assigned processes to ensure high quality production.
Respond to machine faults and restore to normal operation
Participate in autonomous maintenance to maintain assigned equipment/area
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is required per the BD attendance policy
Maintain equipment and a clean area by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment.
Maintains an open line of communication to ensure all problems/changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner
Maintains accurate records as required following good documentation practices (GDP)
Participate in root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues as needed
Participate in tier 1 shifts' start-up meetings, 5S, and Kaizen events
Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures including RCRA Hazardous waste regulations
Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
Support and maintain a safe working environment including the submission of employee safety observations (ESO)
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment
Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed
Ability to train other associates as needed
Ability to identify production issues and clearly communication to support functions
Willing to work overtime as needed
Required: High School Diploma/GED or 1-year consecutive work experience.
