deciBel Research has an immediate opening for an Afternoon Part-time Receptionist in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

The Afternoon Receptionist plays a vital role in supporting daily office operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and visitors, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of shared spaces. This position is responsible for managing front desk duties in the afternoon and assisting with administrative and facility-related tasks

Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor and replenish office supply inventory daily
• Update and maintain multiple office calendars
• Receive deliveries, complete associated delivery documentation, and notify recipients
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Answer calls from the main phone line; take and distribute messages as needed
• Greet and assist guests, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and assist with tidying other shared spaces
• Submit and track facility maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Reserve and coordinate the use of conference rooms
• Restock beverages, snacks, and deli items in designated areas
• Perform afternoon closing duties, including cleaning and breaking down the deli area, securing badges and keys, and filing paperwork
• Support additional administrative tasks as needed

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Associate's degree a plus.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office

Special Skills Desired:

• Experience using SharePoint.
