Mid-Level Software Developer

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Software Developer to join our team of qualified, and diverse individuals.

 

Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full life cycle of development activities – define, develop, test, install, document, and maintain
• Maintain a source control and inventory system to ensure proper version control
• Create and maintain documentation, including data models, data dictionaries, stored procedures, functional and technical design documents, acceptance test plans, and production release schedules
• Translate system requirements into technical specifications, processes, and data mapping for existing system and system modifications
• Evaluate feasibility of enhancements requested by the user community
• Respond to upgrades needed to comply with new regulations
• Support activities and tickets with an internal Help Desk team that provides phone support to end users
• Follow systems engineering, development, and deployment best practices
• Provide status updates on work assignments and any technical issues that present risk to project timeline as required by selected project framework.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of experience or a High School diploma/equivalent and 9 years of experience.
• Extensive experience with web application development using ASP.NET (C#, Web APIs, Entity Framework, MVC/Razor/Web pages).
• Development experience with Microsoft .NET, .NET Core, XML, HTML, JavaScript
• Experience with TSQL (including complex queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers) experience in designing database solutions for web applications.
• Experience building, deploying, and managing application delivery using Azure DevOps.
• Highly proficient .NET Core, MS SQL relational databases, Angular, ASP.NET, and TSQL
• Ability to design, develop, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications
• Highly self-motivated individual who has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and sustain key customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SSRS and other reporting services preferred.
• Experience with AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap preferred

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
