We are looking for a motivated individual who will be able to contribute to our team's overall mission of providing reliable financial information and exceptional operations support in alignment with Calabrio's strategic goals while fostering a culture of inclusion. By providing timely and accurate financial reporting, business guidance, and streamlined processes, this individual will help support the Company's ability to sustainably increase growth and profitability. In addition, the Senior Accountant will leverage their financial and process acumen to support certain business functions with project coordination, process documentation, financial analysis and accommodating ad-hoc user requests. </p><p><br/><strong>About The Team<br/></strong>Our Global Accounting Team manages the accounting for the Company’s global operations. From executing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the generation of maintenance of accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable regulations, the Global Accounting Team is responsible for several key areas that are critical to the organization’s success including driving an efficient and accurate month-end close process, providing oversight to components of compensation-related accounting, leading adoption and education of the impact of new and existing accounting guidance and leading an environment of continuous improvement. This dynamic and fast-paced environment is fueled by a remarkable team of motivated individuals who share a passion for financial accuracy and excellence. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, an analytical thinker with the ability to analyze large data sets, juggle multiple deliverables simultaneously while meeting deadlines, and be driven by curiosity.</p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Financial Reporting Month-End Close</strong></p><ul> <li>Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries, and document business processes.</li> <li>Analyze balance sheet accounts and perform monthly reconciliations.<br/> <br/> </li> </ul><p><strong>Reporting Operations</strong></p><ul> <li>Generate monthly balance sheet and income statement flux analyses for management reporting.</li> <li>Monitor the consistency and accuracy of accounting reports and ledgers, and financial data provided by other teams.</li> <li>Lead/support decision making and resolution of complex accounting issues (statutory or US GAAP related), including providing company-wide leadership in the areas of accounting and account analysis.</li> <li>Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Other Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Collaborate with various teams to provide guidance on the impact of contractual arrangements and business decisions to ensure data readiness for month-end accounting.</li> <li>Support US GAAP and statutory audits and tax filings.</li> <li>Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.</li> <li>Support system upgrades and implementations.</li> <li>Lead and/or assist on cross functional projects as needed.</li> </ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul> <li>BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.</li> <li>Fluency in English and Swedish. </li> <li>4+ years total accounting experience, including public accounting experience.</li> <li>Knowledge of US GAAP, statutory GAAP, and internal control best practices.</li> <li>Eager to take on new tasks and projects.</li> <li>Ability to thrive in change and ambiguity.</li> <li>Strong written, oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Solid leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills and good business acumen.</li> <li>Ability to take initiative, work independently and achieve success with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Exceptional documentation skills with the ability to be clear and concise.</li> <li>Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks concurrently.</li> <li>Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel.</li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul> <li>Big 4 audit experience.</li> <li>CPA or equivalent preferred.</li> <li>Experience
