Your Role
The Pharmacy Triage and Action Group (TAG) supports the pharmacy modular solution in project and issue management, business analysis, and business operations. The Program Manager, Senior will report to the Manager of Pharmacy TAG. In this role you will triage new pharmacy production stabilization issues related to modular solutions, provide initial impact assessments, perform root cause analysis, identify impacts and potential solution options, partner with the Pharmacy Production Stabilization team to develop the summary and action plan and drive your assigned tasks to completion. This position works closely with the Pharmacy Production Stabilization team, cross-functionally with other teams within Blue Shield, as well as external vendor partners.

If you are within 50 miles of a BSC office, you are required to go into the office 8 times per month. That equals 2 days per week.
Your Work
- Provide complex analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations
- Develop, prepare, and analyze reports with complex analysis and data for management review, and present to various levels of management
- Define business requirements and provide analysis to increase operational efficiency
- Provide analytical support for multiple, complex cross-functional projects simultaneously; establish work plans and timelines
- Utilize Pharmacy Benefits Operation knowledge to complete deliverables and assure successful delivery issues or projects
- Successfully navigate a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
- Triage pharmacy production stabilization issues related to modular solution and provide initial impact assessment
- Partner with the external modular solution vendors to ensure timely and accurate resolution of pharmacy production stabilization issues
- Partner with Pharmacy Production Stabilization team to develop summary and action plans, provide status updates and timelines for issues or tasks assigned to you
Perform root cause analysis and impact assessment, identify solution options and remediation needs, develop a timeline for resolution of pharmacy issues related to modular solution
- Manage and oversee external modular solution vendor tasks, solutions, and timelines related to pharmacy production stabilization efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Your knowledge and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
If you are within 50 miles of a BSC office, you are required to go into the office 8 times per month, which is 2 times per week.
Solid understanding of pharmacy benefit management operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills that exhibit a solutions-oriented approach
Experience managing external vendors to ensure timely deliverables
Experience using MS Office tools including Excel (pivot tables, power query, macros, VLOOKUP)
