Job description:
Data Engineer is responsible for working in a mission-critical and growth-driven environment. Additionally, designing, building, and deploying data analytics solutions. The Engineer will work closely with fellow developers, project managers, and multiple stakeholders in driving significant improvements in efficiency, delivery, resilience, and overall employee well-being across the company. As Service Delivery Manager, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services to clients by overseeing project management, monitoring performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact to understand and address their specific needs and challenges; essentially guaranteeing that services are delivered on time, and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing data to identify trends, diagnose problems, and make informed decisions.
- Pair remotely and in person with fellow developers.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of software trends and best-practices
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of battery production operations
- Provide time-sensitive support and bug fixes
- Identifying and resolving service-related issues promptly, escalating when necessary, and implementing corrective actions
- Providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project status, performance metrics, and any potential challenges.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in an agile software development environment
- Experience in Python, Airflow and PySpark.
- Experience working with Postgres/Oracle or other Relational Databases
- Exposure to Reporting Tools like Tableau,
- Proven experience with Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management processes.
- An ability to provide code reviews that are thorough, constructive, and insightful
- Must be willing to support applications during off hours in case of an outage.
