As our portfolio continues to grow, so does our Human Resources and People Team! Mark-Taylor is hiring a Benefits/Human Resources Administrator!

As the Benefits/Human Resources Administrator, you will work primarily out of our Corporate Office located in the McCormick Ranch neighborhood of Scottdale, Arizona. You will focus on supporting the Benefits/HR team by managing key functions such as benefits administration, data management, wellness initiatives, and overall HR operations.

You're Excited About This Role Because You Will:

  • Support HR activities, including employee relations, policy implementation, performance management, unemployment claims, and employment verifications.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition with rehire eligibility reviews, background check monitoring, and new hire updates.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for HR projects such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and organizational development, while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Coordinate and implement wellness initiatives promoting physical and mental health, including fitness challenges and mental health resources.
  • Assist in administering benefits programs by preparing materials, responding to inquiries, managing open enrollment logistics, and updating benefits documentation.
  • Compile and analyze data, including benefit trends, turnover metrics, and employee feedback through surveys or focus groups.

We're Excited to Meet You! Ideally, You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience (internships or coursework) is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HR principles, including employee relations, benefits administration, and recruitment processes is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to gather, prepare, and manage documentation efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn HRIS systems quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and clarity.
  • Ability to assist with compiling and analyzing data, such as turnover metrics and employee feedback.
  • Interest or experience in supporting wellness programs, employee engagement initiatives, or HR projects.
  • Team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to provide administrative and logistical support across various HR functions.
