Supervisory Program Analyst (Deputy Division Chief)

Specialized experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. GS-15: Applicants must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-14, in the federal service. Specialized experience includes experience in ALL of the following: Planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs or projects, including developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, and evaluating and reporting on accomplishments; Applying strategic planning skills to solve challenging problems in optimal ways; and Providing advice and assistance to top level executive staff and key program official on administrative management matters, including the impact of changes in relevant policies and standards.
