DUTIES:
•    Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of product integrations to support the evolution of travel products. 
•    Oversee the Product Integration Engineers, providing guidance and support to the Crewmembers in their roles. 
•    Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables and contributes to the overall implementation of the technology strategy, enabling JTP to become a digital disruptor. 
•    Collaborate heavily with matrix partners in JetBlue’s IT, JetBlue Tech Ventures (JTV) and external business partners.  
•    Own the process of designing, developing and managing business partner connectors and product integrations from conception to retirement.
•    Lead the team of Product Integration Engineers, ensuring that they meet team goals and are developed professionally in their respective careers.
•    Interpret and implement business logic in efficient algorithms using Java, Python and/or Go. 
•    Write unit tests with strong test coverage, perform load tests and performance tests.
•    Accountable for the Product Integration team delivering with consistency, high quality and predictability.
•    Create and promote a work environment focused on engineering excellence to attract, develop and encourage a culture of technical innovation.
•    Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams and help develop the product vision and roadmap.
•    Participate in the DevOps practice as it pertains to Product Integration Engineering.
•    Help establish frameworks, design and integration patterns as well as guide the software development performed by business partners.
•    Help manage a collection of external technology products used to deliver business products.
•    Partner with JTV to identify, monitor, learn, experiment and share information about emerging technology that is relevant to JTP. 
•    Other complex projects and duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a related position providing engineering experience.

Prior experience must include:
•    Five (5) years’ experience in software engineering environments and standards.
•    Two (2) years of experience with internet technologies, protocols and methodologies for delivering web-based products.
•    Two (2) years of experience with integration patterns, service design, toolage and security patterns.
•    Two (2) years of experience managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Pass a ten (10) year background check.

Position eligible for up to 100% telecommuting; may be performed from anywhere in US.
    
SALARY: $168,300/year
