Triage Specialist
The Triage Specialist supports a federal agency by receiving, reviewing, and directing incident reports to the appropriate point of contact. The Triage Specialist works as part of a small team of federal and contract staff to ensure inbox coverage 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays.
Essential duties include:
Monitor a shared incident response inbox in collaboration with other team members to ensure timely response and incident elevation.
Analyze each incoming incident in accordance with federal policies to ensure incidents are documented correctly and routed to the appropriate point of contact.
Provide technical assistance in situations where incident reports need to be corrected and/or resubmitted in accordance with policy.
Create shift reports and complete other activities necessary to prepare team members to take over inbox coverage.
Catalog and file incidents in keeping with policies and standard operating procedures.
Maintain a tracking system for reported incidents and perform quality assurance to ensure data accuracy.
Perform data analysis to identify trends in incident reporting.
Provide reports on inbox activity on regular and as-needed bases.
Other duties as assigned.
This position requires a Public Trust clearance.
This position is 100% remote.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
4+ years of related experience.
Experience in case management, child welfare, or social work required.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and to collaborate with team members in a remote environment.
Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and performing basic data analysis preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work some weekends and holidays.
