Hours and Location: 

• Hill Country Rx Pharmacy Location: 3270 Churn Creek Rd, Redding, CA 96002
• Pharmacy Operational Hours: M-F 8 am to 5 pm 

 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

• As a PRN Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll contribute to a community’s well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management. 
• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy counseling services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence. 
• Build effective relationships to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients. 
• Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development. 
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.

What You’ll Bring: 

Basic Qualifications:

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in California.
• A growth mindset and maintain any continuing education requirements.
• Working experience/knowledge in the practice of pharmacy

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 3 years’ experience in the practice of pharmacy
• 340B experience
• Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience working with underserved patient communities. 

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands: 

• Must be able to commute and work at this Hill Country Rx Pharmacy site daily. 
• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds. 
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. 
• Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.

Compensation will vary based on the region. For the state of CA only, the expected hourly start at $60/hour and up ranges. 

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset.)
