Job Description

We are looking for a Senior C# Developer to join our back-end team developing RESTful APIs and modernizing legacy systems to support our industry leading property estimation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the design and development of our cloud-based framework, algorithms, tooling, and assist in legacy systems modernization.
• Proactively contribute to software performance optimization.
• Work as part of an agile team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and software/system defects and issues.
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Work with CI/CD systems to ensure efficient and automated deployment processes.
• Continuously help the team to improve by being actively involved in team meetings and ceremonies (architecture, refinements, retrospectives, demos, standups, etc.…).
• Develop high-quality software using industry and team best practices.
• Collaborate with other developers through pair and mob programming.
• Perform manual quality assurance as needed and participate in user testing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Relevant technical experience may substitute for education.
• 6+ years of professional software development work experience.
• Expert in C# and .Net technologies.
• Strong understanding of TCP, HTTP, RESTful, CQRS, and/or event-based systems.
• Experience with Git or another version control system.
• Experience defining and designing microservices.
• Exposure and experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and principles.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Oracle or Postgres databases as well as NoSQL systems.
• Experience with automated testing and software verification (unit, integration).
• Experience with distributed systems methods and practices.
