Job Description


Shape the future: You focus on the product safety and the implementation of functional safety according to IEC 61508 of new, innovative sensors, software and systems in the area of the consumer applications

  • You take over responsibility to establish a safety organization in order to deal with safety related product development and product lifecycle
  • You will support the project safety manager on specific development projects to oversee and ensure the execution of activities necessary to achieve functional safety
  • You will conduct safety reviews, review product release from product and functional safety perspective
  • You will plan and prepare safety assessments and audits and coordinate the competence management for the safety organization
  • As an allrounder you represent the product safety subjects and participate in product safety committees and work groups within Robert Bosch Group

Qualifications

 

  • Personality: High degree of personal integrity, confidence and willingness to work in international and interdisciplinary teams; Effective team player with focused and independent working style
  • Experience and Knowledge: Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality and process management; Good knowledge of IEC 61508 Functional Safety standard and implementation; knowledge of FMEDA, FTA or DFA methodologies
  • Collaboration: Excellent technical leadership, planning and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Languages: Very good English skills (German is an advantage)
  • Education: Degree (Dipl./ M.Sc.) in a relevant technical engineering field (Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent) or comparable qualifications
