Purpose:
We are seeking out a Business Analyst intern to support our Interoperability team, where you will have the opportunity to learn more about a career on the Client Services side of the payments industry. The Interoperability team has a simple mission: we utilize massive amounts of data to proactively identify and solve barriers to optimal payment performance.
The team's accomplishments and insights drive business value across our Centinel (merchant) and VAS (issuer)
platforms.

This internship will provide valuable experiences that will allow you to build a foundational understanding of ecommerce payments, authentication, Cardinal products, and the challenges we face in the payment's ecosystem, with the goal of preparing you for a business analyst career. You will gain firsthand experience as a contributing member of our Client Services teams, learning how we support our customers and the value that our Interoperability function adds to Cardinal as a whole. You will be given diverse opportunities to make an impact on the success of Interoperability, while also acquiring valuable new skills.

What You'll Do:
• Assist in the development of monthly team scorecards and data reporting, which measures and tracks progress on KPIs
• Provide feedback and implement new ideas on how our performance reporting processes and deliverables can be improved
• Assist team with creating and finalizing client communications
• Take ownership on a wide variety of data analysis projects that involve defining analytical objectives, manipulating large data sets using various tools (Excel, Kibana, Databricks), and identifying and presenting insights to team members
• Conduct recurring health checks, using established monitoring processes and tools, to proactively detect performance issues and investigate any findings accordingly

 

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary for a new hire into this position is $23 - $25/hr, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
