We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 2nd to August 1st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About our Indirect Procurement Team:

The Indirect Procurement manages creating synergies across the region’s Brands’ purchases, negotiate business terms, negotiate costs, manage RFPs, and develop category strategies. Indirect Procurement supports all the Shiseido Americas functions such as Marketing & Media, Visual Merchandise, Promotional Development, IT, Corporate services, MRO, Factory Services, etc. across all brands (i.e. Shiseido, Cle de Peau Beaute, NARS, Drunk Elephant, and Fragrances).

 

What You’ll Do:

• Intern will be responsible for managing a Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Proposal (RFP) end to end
• Managing Supplier communications
• Accessing suppliers’ capabilities
• Completing and analyzing the cost comparison
• Support in negotiations
• Develop recommendation for supplier selection

 

Requirements:

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree  
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized 
• Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented 
• Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment 
• Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
