We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:

As a Principal Designer, you will collaborate with a cross functional team to create meaningful and cohesive payment experiences for our customers and As a Lead Product Designer, you will collaborate with a cross functional team to create meaningful and cohesive payment experiences for our customers and merchants around the world. With an unwavering commitment to user-centered design, your passion will translate into flawless execution, leveraging a deep understanding of design patterns to build trust and security within our financial products.

At PayPal, Product Designers influence teams to make customer-centric decisions across the product development lifecycle. This includes drawing on data and research to inform design concepts and decision making. We start with asking the right questions and end with optimized, best-in-class deliverables that convince stakeholders and put the user at the center. Our designers are great storytellers, active listeners, technology enthusiasts and experts of their craft.



You will be the voice of the customer and be responsible for design across your strategic product domain, contributing to PayPal’s outcomes. You will confidently represent your domain to your peers, senior leaders, and execs across the wider organization. You will also mentor other designers and help lead cross-functional teams.

Job Description:

Job responsibilities: 

• Works with cross-functional team members driving the strategy, execution, and delivery of PayPal’s Checkout ecosystem, using a customer-focused, iterative design process.  
   

• Creates high-quality deliverables and executes based on product design goals and priorities without prescriptive guidance or direction, managing work to a more extensive schedule.  
   

• Leverages and extends the use of established product design techniques, templates, presentations and assets in the creation of product design analysis, solutions and materials. 

 

• Contributes to the adaptation of PayPal product design tools,
