About the Team: The Testing Services team seeks to support the mission of BJU Press by helping home school families and schools maintain compliance with state regulations by providing objective measurements of academic achievement to inform educators of student growth through standardized testing.
Role Summary: As a Testing Associate at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Testing Services team by preparing answer documents for scoring through receiving incoming packages or checking test documents for accuracy. Please note that this is not a remote position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sort contents of packages/scanning items
- Record incoming inventory and assessing items for damage
- Open and sorting incoming packages/moving packages
- Review test documents for accuracy
- Participate in general office duties
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES NEEDED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- General computer aptitude
- Willingness to work as a team player, doing whatever task is needed
- Detail-oriented
- Supportive of homeschooling
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic computer aptitude
- Ability lift and move boxes for an extend time
