Job Description

• Perform trouble shooting and repairs to both bottling and thermoforming equipment to support packaging operations.
• Change over packaging equipment as stipulated in a production schedule.
• Performs preventive maintenance on packaging and support equipment.
• Initiates work orders in CMMS for repairs and or adjustments to equipment.
• Adhere to Abbvie’s code of conduct.
•  Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
•  Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis
• Capable of training others on tasks.
•  Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
• Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks.
• Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
•  Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.
• Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations.
• Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.

Qualifications

• • HS diploma or GED required.
•  10+ yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree.
• 3+ yrs. Experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
•  CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation preferred.
•  Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).
