Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.  

Our Ecosystem Strategic Finance team is searching for a Senior Associate to support our Ecosystem Strategy & Performance. This person will partner with our Product Executive team on strategic and operational projects focused on expanding growth, health, and value delivered within the LinkedIn member ecosystem. We’re seeking someone who brings strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to communicate complex insights clearly to senior leadership.

Responsibilities: 

Strategic Thinking

  • Identifies new opportunities for growth, makes novel strategic recommendations, and drives strategy development for the member ecosystem.
  • Ensures pressure testing of opportunities and the consideration of trade-offs and implications across functions/organizations.
  • Anticipates obstacles and leverages expertise to recommend and drive implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Drives the delivery of data architecture used to execute ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address business questions.

Stakeholder Influence

  • Leverages insights, data, internal/external trends, and narratives to influence stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Drives alignment by synthesizing problems and communicating a clear point of view to support decision-making on strategic issues affecting the function/organization.

Execution and Organization

  • Leads and develops multiple complex workstreams, projects, or operational processes within the member ecosystem.

Performance Management

  • Runs, operates, and improves the performance management process for key consumer metrics.

  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and champions cross-functional collaboration, aligning with LinkedIn’s values of transformation, integrity, and putting members first.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • 1+ years of experience in the technology industry. 
  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy or an operational or growth role within a technology company    
  • Experience with SQL    
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to independently seek information, solve complex problems, mobilize resources, and drive outcomes in dynamic environments
  • Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience breaking down and solving real-world business challenges
  • Concise and effective communications: You’re able to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. 

The pay range for this role is $96,000 - $156,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
