Your Responsibilities
As a Part Time Student for JD Waterloo Works - Foundry Division working remotely, you will:
- Learn how to identify, analyze and apply information to support issue resolution.
- Develop tools to aid in data analysis and collection.
- Participate in developmental assignments to gain experience.
- Perform activities according to project plans and schedule.
This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need
- Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university.
- Graduation date of May 2026 or later.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
- Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
- Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.
- If local, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
What Makes You Stand Out
- Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics or Actuary/Statistics; others may apply.
- Understanding of various functions within a cast iron foundry.
- Background in quality and process controls.
- Familiar with PowerBi and data analysis software.
- Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
