About the role
This role will be based in our Denmark Manufacturing sites and has been created to deliver Workforce Administration services to the Convatec enterprise as part of an international team of delivery experts. The People Advisor will be responsible for the successful delivery of HR Operations services and have the opportunity to play a role in defining, improving, and supporting our HR Operating Model.
Key duties and responsibilities
Act as a Country Expert and first point of contact for resolving colleague queries related to HR Operations processes, time management, payroll, and general HR inquiries—triaging and referring cases to appropriate teams as needed.
Supporting end-to-end HR Operations activities, including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, job changes (e.g. promotions, personal data updates), time and absence management, and payroll-related processes.
Handling Tier 2 HR tickets, managing Workday inbox tasks, and addressing complex or process-driven queries and escalations related to the Employee Life Cycle, Time, and Pay—using platforms like ServiceNow and Workday.
Provide localized support for Denmark-specific HR operations, including managing shared mailboxes for employees and government requests.
Support payroll and time processes, including time entry and approval, pay queries, absence tracking, and compliance with local regulations.
Playing an active role in knowledge management: create, review, and maintain HR policies, user guides, and knowledge base articles to enable employee self-service and ensure up-to-date HR information.
Deliver training and support to Tier 1 WFA support teams, helping them resolve routine inquiries using pre-defined guidelines and knowledge articles.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement and supporting the implementation of new solutions.
Contribute to HR-related projects, system enhancements, and technology rollouts—presenting findings, recommendations, and updates to stakeholders.
Assist with cross-functional communication and collaboration, maintaining strong internal relationships with relevant departments.
Staying up to date with local legislation and payroll platform developments to ensure compliance and relevance of HR practices.
Support interpretation and translation tasks when cross-country collaboration or communication requires local language expertise.
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions, demonstrating confidence, HR knowledge, and timely issue resolution.
Foster strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring a consistent and high-quality employee experience through effective query resolution and HR support.

- HR Community: People Partners, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Project Management Office (PMO)
- Cross-Functional Teams: IT Provisioning & Access Team, Finance – Travel & Expenses (T&E) Team
- Business Stakeholders: Line Managers & Employees
This role requires effective communication, coordination, and relationship management with all these stakeholders to support seamless HR service delivery and ensure a positive employee experience.
About you
3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing role within HR Operations, preferably in a shared services or international environment.
Demonstrated experience supporting payroll and time management processes.
