Ramboll is accepting applications for the Summer 2024 internship program at our office located in Arlington VA. Each participant will be assigned a mentor who will guide them through project assignments. The program will provide internship participants with the opportunity to gain experience working in one or more practice areas. Our goal is to afford our interns experience with a variety of projects during the summer program to broaden their understanding an experience within their field of interest.

Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Finance intern you will be working with a group of Finance professionals that are highly motivated and skilled in the Americas. You will be introduced and trained on key financial concepts and skills that are needed to contribute to the Finance team within Ramboll. These duties will include but are not limited to:
- Advise Program Managers (PM) with detailed financial analysis and recommendations to minimize and document risk
- Learn the Ramboll Project Financial Support model, running projects end to end
- Work closely with Business Controllers to communicate project risk and opportunities
- Ensure quality and timely submission of project deliverables and documentation as assigned by the PM or Project Controller (PC)
- Gain valuable experience on how to use Maconomy for project financial support and analysis
- Interact with a global network of business finance team members including our Ramboll Support Center (RSC) to support Project Financial Management
- Assist with general financial modelling and analysis
- Provide assistance with monthly invoice generation, review and submission
- Set up projects and process change orders in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Maconomy in accordance with the contract, customer and local Primary Business Unit (PBU) requirements
- Assist PCs and Coordinators with any ad hoc tasks or deliverables
- Gain exposure to Ramboll’s suite of financial support tools
- Support special projects over the summer with the opportunity to present to Business Finance Leadership

- Candidates should be working toward a B.S degree in Finance or Accounting with an interest in pursuing a career in Accounting or Finance
- Candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above are strongly preferred. Candidates with the completion of 6 college semesters (rising senior status) are strongly preferred.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in Office 365 including intermediate Excel skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Teams
