The Pharmacy Engineer 2 oversees logistics, fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, motors and systems The Pharmacy Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.The Pharmacy Controls Engineer 2 ensures maintenance and continuous improvement of quality and industry standards, work with Industrial automation equipment and Technology to contribute at cost effectiveness and efficiency, oversees and implements prescription drug distribution equipment, in an Automated warehouse fulfillment center, (Mail Order Pharmacy) and capture design modifications to eliminate malfunctions, reduce cost-to-fill, increase throughput and improve quality, performs and leads tests of related software and equipment to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects, and devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

This Position is located in Orlando, FL.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, might need work over weekends based on certain planned events.
This is mostly an On-site Role, with some opportunities and flexibility for Hybrid work / Home office.
Not much travel Required, up to 10 to15%.

Requirements:
- A four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field
- Project execution/management experience.
- Proficient documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six sigma training or certification.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
