Job Description
As an Executive Coordinator, you will provide support to NBC Sports executive leaders.
Responsibilities
- Administrative duties for this role include: answering phones; managing travel and expenses; controlling calendars and setting meetings; and attending and taking notes for staff meetings
- Handle and coordinate confidential information with detail and due care
- Prepare expense reports and order supplies as needed
- Assist in preparation and drafting of documents and presentations
- Comprehensive research, substantive follow up, and coordinating special projects and events
- Provide support as HR Coordinator for Olympic and Sports related work
- Provide personal assistance on various projects and activities
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum one (1) year administrative and/or general office experience
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Additional Qualifications
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills needed
- Must be a team player
- Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives a must
- Solid writing and organization skills
- Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Able to prioritize demands and heavy volumes of internal demands
- Comfortable dealing with heavy volumes of calls – both internal and external – as well as complicated travel arrangements
Desired Characteristics
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to organize and establish administrative procedures independently, draft correspondence and reports, and work under pressure
- Interest in sports television production and operations
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Experience working in television production a plus
Eligibility Requirements
- Willingness to travel and work overtime, and occasional weekends
- Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
